9 Months Bubby!

Today, I took the "little man" to the Dr. for his 9 month checkup.
He weighs 23 lbs and 29 1/2 inches. That's the 80th percentile for both.
I thought he'd weigh more. Maybe my arms are just weak.
BJ does really well in the Dr.'s office up until this point. I think it was about this age that Arianna decided to hate that place. So, we'll see in about 3 more months how Mr. BJ decides to react to it.

At 9 months old, BJ is scooting around, following Arianna everywhere, pulling, grabbing and eating up a storm. He will get up on all fours and rock back and forth, but hasn't taken off on all fours yet.

Still has NO teeth. Pediatrician said that is ok until 14 months old.
BJ says mama and dada. He also says "hi" but I think it is just a sound coming out of
his mouth, with no intention of the meaning of the word.
Food. Oh Boy. What doesn't he eat? Umm...can't think of much. He will eat tablefood as long as it is in small pieces. And I think he's a chipmunk. This boy will stuff bread in his mouth, take more bites, and will not have swallowed the previous pieces.

Last but not least. BJ is Arianna's biggest fan. He watches every move she makes. He follows her around as best he can. He laughs and smiles as soon as she gets close.
Example: Last night we were at Grammie's house when Arianna was on the porch hanging out with the adults in the nice breeze. BJ and I were inside. Somehow he managed to find the sliding glass door. Low and behold he could see Arianna. She comes running to him (on the outside of the glass). And through the door they just laughed and "talked" to each other.

What great kids. I hope and pray they will remain this close for a long, long time.

Where's Pablo?

This past Sunday, we took Arianna to see her favorite TV Characters - The Backyardigans -Live!

Besides sitting in the nose bleed section (the second to last row counts as nose bleed, right?) we had a blast. When her favorite one wasn't appearing in the show at that moment Arianna constantly asked "where's Pablo?" Of course she really can only say two of their names, so maybe that has something to do with it.

$88, 30 years and FREE!

I'm so proud of my dear husband. Today was his first day of his breakfast deal at Paisano's. He sold $88 worth! And that doesn't count the family and friends he gave free meals to. Way to go, Babe!

30 years and counting! Today my wonderful, loving parents are celebrating their 30 year anniversary! Congratulations and thanks for the example you've shown Marty and me.

Free, yes that's right! Look at this beautiful nursery furniture that we got from a friend of Marty's sister. You wouldn't even know it's been through two families of babies.

"Hey Mom, am I in the picture?"

The 8 month old son finally gets a real crib.

For all of you long distance, don't worry, we haven't grown
too big to share the chair or the juice.

Slightly frightened by the rocking of the rocking chair.

Not at all frightened by the rocking of the
rocking chair.
