Our trip to Indiana (almost 3 weeks ago) was the first out of state trip for Arianna and Bernie.
The theme of the trip was to play, play, play!
When we arrived at 8 in the morning, we played with Paps on the floor.

In the afternoon, after we attempted naptime, cousin Jen and cousin Joe (not pictured) came to meet Bernie and Arianna.

The kids decided that the ottomans were nice platforms to jump off, especially if Grandma was willing to catch us.

After dinner, Uncle Randy, Aunt Diane, and Joe came over. Uncle Randy loved chasing them and snatching their blankets away. Bernie yanked his blanket back and declared "Mine!"

And that was only the first day.
The next day we found out Uncle Josh arrived!

Some of us went to the park while Bernie was napping.

That evening we headed to Newburgh to eat dinner at Uncle Randy's house.
Aunt Diane gave us our own table to color on and blocks to play with. And everyone else must have been eating, but we were too busy to do that!
Then they let us go outside.
Boy, oh boy! A nice yard, a swingset and treehouse, a fun wagon to go down the hills and basketball!
First stop: Swings

Then we got adventurous and let Uncle Randy take us up the treehouse.
Don't miss how opposite the expressions are on their faces.

The older kids must've been bored and took over the swings.

Some of Joe's old toys had been dug out, so we took Aunt Diane's advice and rolled the wagon down the slopes.

Finally we ended the night with lots of basketball.

Day Three
Mesker Park Zoo
Bernie saw how close he could get to the animals and immediately wanted out of the stroller.

After a while we had to take a break because it was so hot.

We were extremely close to the giraffes and also saw 5 zebras.

And all that pretty much sums up our trip.
It was nice to come home, especially when you arrive to new kitchen ceramic tile, new living room paint and the start of a new master shower!
Thank you Marty for working non-stopped on your supposed "break".
